I am a garden junkie from south western Ontario. I have as much garden space as my yard will possibly allow, and too many containers to mention. I collect tropical plants especially brugmansia...being in zone 6, our house is packed full during the winter months.
I started last year with an interest in attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. After some research, I made as many "nectar plants" or "host plants" available in my garden as possible. Growing from seed, most of them are blooming this year for the first time.
I collect and trade seeds during the "off season" and have become quite addicted to it. I find it a great way to try plants that the local nurseries just don't offer in our area.
I am a member of a few garden groups one being Garden Web
http://www.gardenweb.com/
I spend most of my time in the "canadian seed exchange", but hopefully you get a chance to look around. The other is a msn group called "All Canadian Gardeners". *NOTE - If choosing to apply for membership, be sure to fill in the " why do you want to join" section. The moderator declines all empty ones thinking they are spammers.*

Hope you take a chance to look around at either site...we can always use new members.
